Marcia King-Gamble, Our New Author by @JoanReeves #RomanceGems

Happy June, everyone. Whee! I love June. It's warm, but not blistering hot, and full of sunshine and flowers.

Giveaway Alert

I'm giving away a beautiful Journal graced with a picture of the Eifel Tower on the front cover and a map of Paris on the back. Look for Giveaway Details below.

New Month Brings News

I'm certainly looking forward to a new month. I hope it lifts the gray curtain of gloom too many are feeling.

It's been a tough year so far, but there's hope on the horizon. The best doctors in the world are working on this virus. The technology geniuses of the world are coming up with solutions to help us get back to normal, albeit a new normal.

Let's continue being smart, valiant, hopeful, and never yielding to fear and paranoia.

Actually, I've been too busy to think about much except writing and welcoming new authors to Romance Gems.

Latest Romance Gems News

Please welcome Marcia King-Gamble, our newest author who has joined  Romance Gems. Marcia will be blogging on the 22nd of each month.

Although Marcia is a travel industry executive and visited many countries, she's spent most of life in the United States.

Marcia is a National Bestselling Author who has written more than 34 books and 8 novellas.

I invite you to find out more about her on her profile on The Authors. You'll find her online links there so drop by and visit her at her website and social media pages.

Marcia's latest book is Ring in the Moment, the second book in The Ring series.

Here's a short blurb to pique your reader's curiosity.

Keisha Wilson gets the surprise of her life when her boyfriend, Brian O'Connor dumps her, and right before one of the biggest holidays of the year. Brian gives no explanation, and although Keisha is hurt she has no choice but to move on. What else can she do?

Brian has never stopped loving Keisha, but he's reluctant to drag her into a mess. A past indiscretion has come back to haunt him, and until he can get that situation handled, he's in no position to make a commitment.

When Brian realizes Keisha isn't going to sit home and mope—and he may lose her— he decides it's time to take action. Portia, the woman back in his life, has other plans, She's not going to walk away without a fight. Given Brian's secret, will Keisha take him back? Can love survive deception?

Author Spotlight Shines on Kathryn Hills in June

Drop by Author Spotlight and learn more about Kathryn Hills, one of the nicest authors you'll ever meet.

Kathy is into all things that go bump in the night and is the author of A Time Traveler's Journey series.

The Spotlight page contains an excerpt for the first book in her series, Haunting Highland House, and it's romantic and sensual!

Sneak Peak at My Work in Progress

I'm having a ball writing a Mystery Romance entitled The Key to Kristina. It will publish in July in a box set I created called Fortune's Favor: The Treasure.

Kristina's father never gave her anything but a hard time—until he died and left her a key. But a key to what?

My book will be 1 of 7 novels, all written by some of my best writing buddies, and each novel will feature a treasure of some kind.

I'll give you a clue. The Treasure in my book is a bit unusual. I hope everyone who reads it keeps the secret and doesn't mention what the treasure is in a review. All I'll say is that I had a fabulous time doing the research for it.

Later this month, I'll do a cover reveal in my free subscription newsletter. So sign up if you want to see the cover for my book and for the box set itself.

In late June I'll issue a call for readers who want to receive an Advanced Reading Copy for the purposes of posting a review of my book when the box set publishes. Get on my list now if you wish. Email me (joan @ JoanReeves dot com) and put ARC in the Subject Box if you want to be put on the list to receive an Advanced Reading Copy. (You must agree to review the book and post your review on the day the book publishes.)

  11. On Friday I'm finally going to get to stay over at my daughter's house. I will be able to play, read, hug and kiss my 4 grandchildren! I am so excited! I haven't been with them since the beginning of January. We will celebrate my granddaughter Malia's 4th birthday.

Later this month we will visit my mother. She will be 96 on June 19th.

We were going to have a family get-together June 18-24th but we had to cancel due to health concerns. Sad because my 4 children live in 4 states: Oregon, Utah, Florida and Wisconsin. We haven't been together since my middle son was married in Tampa, FL in October of 2018.
